Dr. Stephen M. Erle, DC, CSCS

Training Director

Dr. Stephen M. Erle, DC, CSCSTraining Director of SEAL Training Adventures and prior Naval Intelligence Specialist for SEAL and other Special Operations Command units.  Mentor and Corpsman to SEAL Sea Cadets and Professional Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coach and University team Sports Physician. Instructor of small arms shooting, operational planning and execution, TCCC medical instructor, SUT leadership and tactics as well as land navigation. Physician of Chiropractic Medicine with more than 12-years of private practice. Dr. Erle is recognized as an authority on treatment of musculo-skeletal injuries, as well as, military training and operations.

His military credentials are exemplary; Mr. Hess was an active United States Special Warfare Operator, a Navy SEAL. From 2004 to present, Hess has served as a President, CEO, and COO and provided insight as a Board Member, a Director and performed in various other Advisory capacities for companies within Product and Service driven markets. He is passionate about Organizational Leadership & Management, Business Administration, Global Economics, International Markets and their interlinking impacts upon the prosperity of US Corporations and our country’s National Security interests.

Doug Nelson

A former athlete from the University of Florida and participant of the Special Ops Academy.  Since graduation, Nelson has worked for several high profile startups in New York as the Marketing Manager on both B2B and B2C fronts.  Nelson has performed various advisory roles in UX and has helped with product development in the automotive industry.  Nelson joined the SEAL Training Adventures team after going through one of the hottest Special Ops Academies to date and as both a marketer and former recruit remains enthusiastic about SEAL Training Adventures Programs.

Our instructors have several years experience in their chosen Special Ops fields, not all instructors are shown here as some are still in active duty.  We have instructors from all the top Special Ops including SEAL Team 6 and Army Rangers.

Stew Smith - USN SEAL

Stew Smith is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, a former Navy SEAL Lieutenant and author of several fitness and self defense books. Certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and as military fitness trainer, Stew has trained thousands of students for Navy SEAL, Special Forces, SWAT, FBI, ERT and many other law enforcement professions.

Fred Kolberg is a retired U.S. Navy SEAL Special Operations Independent Duty Corpsman (IDC). Mr. Kolberg excelled as a Vertical Assault Master, Expert Marksman, Helicopter Rope Suspension Training Master (HRST), Tactical Field Operator, Weapons Training, Surveillance Detection, Counter Surveillance, Vehicle Dynamics Driving Instructor, Small Arms and Crew Serve Weapons Instructor, Close Quarters Battle (CQB) and many other combat skills.

Jan Wright SEAL Training Adventures instructorJan Wright is a 25 year veteran of Law Enforcement, Chief of Police, motivational speaker and SEAL Adventure Challenge Instructor.  Mr. Wright is also a Firearms Instructor and Insight Firearms Development Instructor.  As a Graduate of West Point Command and Leadership and FBI Executive Leadership, he demonstrated excellence in his career.

Giuseppe Genovali - Italian Navy

Giuseppe Genovali International SEAL Training Adventures instructorBorn in 1970, Mr Giuseppe Genovali has always lived following the rigorous and noble teaching of his father, a master blacksmith. Due to his close relationship with the sea, he has served the Italian Navy and stood up as professional Triathlon athlete. Having also specialized in Thaibox he has worked as Body Guard for many italian and foreign political figures. He actually runs the Special Ops Academy in Rome that is the first of its kind in Italy. ”Per Aspera ad Astra’ is his maxim and way of living.

Don Mann USN SEAL/Chief Warrant OfficerDon Mann is a former SEAL Team 6 member and Chief Warrant Officer.  He is a decorated combat veteran; Corpsman; SEAL Special Operations Technician; jungle survival, desert survival, and arctic survival instructor; small arms weapons instructor, foreign weapons instructor, armed and unarmed defense tactics, advanced hand-to-hand combat instructor; and Survival, Evade, Resistance and Escape Instructor; in addition to other credentials.

Jeff Soule - US Army Ranger

Jeff Soule instructorJeff was an Infantry Captain in the military, where he was an Army Ranger and deployed in support of the War on Terror. He was an instructor at the US Army Ranger School and competed twice in the Best Ranger Competition. A 3 day non-stop Olympic-class, military competition, open to Airborne Ranger qualified Soldiers. In 2008 he finished 2nd overall with his brother as his teammate.
