"People asked me - Why"

People asked me for days before the event "Why are you doing this?" My only reply to them was "Don't forget - AGAIN this is my second time."

There is something inside of me that says', you will finish, you will go on, you might be a "Want-A-Be;" but you are in fact, with no doubt a SEAL at heart.

Being asked time and time again why do you do this to yourself Aaron only pushes me to the next level; I will do what they tell me and finish the job on my dying last breath; it is the honor, desire and the damned if I will let my swim buddy or my boat crew down mentality that keeps me crawling and pushing. I might be paralyzed, I might not stand, I might not walk; I DON'T CARE! SEALs know and follow what they can do. I SCUBA, I Swim, I Skydive, I shoot a gun better then most; and most importantly, I will finish the job and get home.

Would I do it again? With honor and desire. WIll I do it again? I am going to ask and I will wait for the green light.

People ask me all the time, "Aaron, why do you do this to yourself?"

One sentence, and one word will give you that answer: "It is who I am inside - I want to be a US Navy SEAL."

Honor

Special thanks to my brother Jason, my Swim Buddy Knox and finally, every Instructor that said "We are going to hurt you and enjoy it."

I hope everyone in that class had a great time. Thanks for being apart of it.

I'd Do It Again In A Heartbeat!

During my training at the SOFA and SAC I realized that I was in for a real life changing experience. Myself getting ready to join the US Navy as a Spec Op Diver I wanted a little taste of what I would soon be getting during my training as a Diver. I got more than a taste...I got a 3-Course Meal! And I loved every bit of it! The reality of "Gosh! I paid for this?" really hits you. But at the end of the day you thank the instructors for pushing you harder. I can't help but to tell my friends about how much of a blast I had and what great friends I made. If you are reading this...DO THE SOFA!!! You will never regret it. The most fun i have EVER had. Specially the Sky Diving and Night Operation!
DO IT!!

Worth Every Minute and Every Penny

SOF Academy was the most challenging week of my life, physically, mentally and emotionally. The instructors were outstanding. Whatever they are paid, its not enough. I learned a lot about myself during that week. I am still thinking about the lessons learned and coming to conclusions. The SAC on Saturday was the toughest one of the 3 that I've done. Ft. Story is an great location for these two events.
The TCCC was superb. I am a licensed EMS 1st Responder in MN. It requires 40 hours of classroom. I learned more, and gained more confidence in my abilities in 10 hrs with Instructor Kolberg, than the 40 hours instruction for MN.
Worth every minute and every penny.

You've Changed My Life

Hello Guys ---Hope you are all doing well. THIS IS FROM THE HEART. . .This morning as I was praying, I was thanking God for the three of you. I truly want each of you to be encouraged, because sometimes we question if our lives are truly making a difference in someone else's life. Because of you three and the distinctive role that each of you played in my life during the SOF/a, literally, my life purpose-ministry has radically changed and been amplified. WHAT and HOW you guys taught me things at the SOF/a, I am teaching others through my boot camps---and lives are being changed!! Your finger print is on me for life and being transferred to others. Daily, new people are singing up for my boot camps and daily, I think of you three, and daily I thank God for each of you! Thank you for believing in me. . .and I believe in you too. Your life is making a difference in ways you may not always see or hear about. You guys did not leave me behind. . .and I will "never leave a man behind either."

God bless each of you and know that you have a friend who is praying for you and thinking of you every day.
Your brother and friend, ---Robert "Master Pastor"

P.S. I have a guy who started my boot camp weighing 380 lbs. In 4 weeks, he has lost 25 lbs. His first day he could barely do 5-4 count jumping jacks. 2 weeks later he did 400 jumping jacks non-stop!

Editorial Note - Robert is referring to STA Owner and Instructor - Dr. Stephen M. Erle, Instructor - Cpt. Jeff Soule, and Instructor - Jono Senk

Prove To Yourself What You Are Made Of

It is not possible to describe what the Seal Adventure Challenge did to me but I will do my best in a few words. Before I went to the SAC in Virginia Beach I really wasn't sure what I was capable of doing. I always knew I wanted to be a SEAL but I had to prove it somehow and after countless repetitions of flutter kicks, pushups, and carrying that god forsaken log I found out that I am capable of doing anything. There was one instructor there who will last with me forever. He scared the crap out of me - Instructor JONO. With those orange Oakley sunglasses and 6 inch buck knife on his side he was enough to make you scream. Instructor Jono and the rest of the staff of SAC truly are doing a great thing and they really do know how to push you to your limits and get beyond that breaking point. And if you have any interest in Special Operations Forces war or law enforcement or even just to find out what your made of the Seal Adventure Challenge is right for you. HOOYAH
